So you've had a first taste of my 2009 contests.  Ilona's cowboy picture was great and a real winner.  I loved his special smile and even had it up as my wallpaper for a little while.

 

I wasn't going to do another one before I went overseas, but I couldn't let Valentine's Day go by without something a little special!  So, let's do something very easy.  Something we will all enjoy.

One of my favorite things about this holiday is the love songs that seem to take over the airwaves.  Every time you turn on your radio, you hear something that shares all the emotions and joy of being in love.  As an author, I know just how important words are, and words to a love song have special meanings to so many.

So, let's take advantage of that.  To be entered in this February contest, here is what you need to do...

1.  If you haven't already, join my chat group... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CJsaysFollowYourDreams/

2. Search the internet and find  your favorite love song.  Find a link where you can hear the music as well as the lyrics. Once you've got it, send an email with the words, "I'll Never Have Enough of Silly Love Songs" in the subject line to the chat list.

3.  In the email, tell us the name of the Love Song, the link to the music, the lyrics that are your favorite, and finally, tell us why this song touches you.  Don't send it to me, but to the list so we all can enjoy it. 

That's it!  Do that and you're entered.  The contest will run through the month of February and I will draw and announce the name of the winner on March 1st.

The winner will receive a selection of great LOVE stories, including my Hot Tubs and Hot Hunks for your reading pleasure.

The next contest will run from January 1rst through March 10th.  As some of you may know, March 23rd, 2009 is my 25th wedding anniversary.  To celebrate, Jonathon and I are going to renew our vows in one of the most romantic places on the planet.

A place where many a run-away couple vowed their love for each other.

We will be spending a week in Ireland and then another week in Scotland.  While there, we will be touring both countries, doing research for my upcoming book I've got set there and finally, promising to love, honor and cherish each other for another 25 years and longer.  We have reserved the Old Blacksmith's Shop original room for the ceremony, then will have a special dinner and night on the town right afterwards.

But what does this mean for you, my readers and fans?

Two, and this is the fun part...I want you to become my travel agents.  Enter my contest and get your chance to explore Ireland and Scotland, if only from your armchair.  Help me decide what places I should visit when there.

What you need to do is research the two countries and pick five places in Ireland and five in Scotland that you think Jonathon and I should visit.  List the name of each attraction, the area of the country where it is, and why you think it is worthy of our time.  If you have links for me to examine, all the better, but the specifics as to why you think we should visit MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS.  No cut and pasting allowed to be entered in the contest.

Send these choices to the chat list so all can read them.  Put the words "I wanna go with you!" in the subject line.  Once all selections have been submitted, I will generate a poll with all the options, and the top two sites voted on will be the places Jonathon and I take time to see.  Any of you who submitted the winning sights will be put in a drawing, and just before I leave I will draw the winner of the Anniversary Trip Gift Selection.
