Sebastian is a much darker character than some of her other heroes but this reviewer expects that this tortured hero will quickly win over the hearts of readers. This is a story
you won't want to put down. Like many of Ms.
England's works this is a non-stop rollercoaster of
emotions, but you'll love every minute of this
enchanting tale of love triumphing at all costs even
if it means relinquishing control of ones heart to
another. This is a story of trust and acceptance
that sometimes you have to lose yourself some to
find out what you really want out of life. Readers
will love the reality of characters, and the
humanity of her leading man Sebastian though he is a
vampire.

An Unholy Embrace has its moments that would make any vampire fan happy. Sebastian is very appealing, especially when he is trying to seduce Teran. Teran has a very innocent way around her, and her character is the type of woman that can soothe the beast Sebastian thinks he is. CJ England has written a nice, sexy, and atmospheric short story about a lonely vampire and the one woman who can complete him body and soul.

The two
main characters of Sebastian and Teran are perfectly suited
for one another. It is a strong, resolute woman that makes
an old vampire remember he still can feel and love. Bringing
Sebastian out of his dark world is a challenge for Teran,
but she is determined to prove her worthiness to him. A
strong battle of wills results from their union and Ms.
England does a wonderful job transferring the emotions of
the character's to the reader. While you want things to work
out for these two lovers, you can see both sides of their
reasoning for what they do. This story will stay with you
long after you put it down. I recommend this to anyone who
loves the romantic vampire genre. 
No matter what subject
or genre she chooses, CJ England is always able to create an
unforgettable story brimming with sincere emotions and
actions. This paranormal tale showcases Ms. England gift for
making the reader care about her main couple, as a
connection is formed from the instant the characters are
met. From the panic being felt by Teran to the overwhelming
sense of protectiveness expressed by Sebastian, these
characters became so real to me, where I was also able to
perceive the intensity of the scene. Though the life of the
vampire Sebastian is often surrounded by darkness, he
discovers there are still some human emotions left inside
him, ones he tries greatly to deny. However, the more he is
around Teran, the more difficult it is to keep his profound
thoughts and wishes under control. During the story, the
frequent battle-of-wills was vividly brought to life from
the determination conveyed by this couple, and I often found
myself hurting or rejoicing right along with them. AN UNHOLY
EMBRACE is a stunning story which speaks to the heart of the
reader through its affecting scenes on every page.
